The Corsican trap- ghost glide, glide trap is a theatre stagecraft techo-mechanical system, which was used to represent slow and terrifying arrival of a ghost. It became very popular and was almost the same important part of the play as the plot and characters, if not even more. It was unseen and remarkable, because people were used to see things pop and fly hastily to the stage and off, which didn’t look realistic. Now when they used the glide trap it was surprising and terrifying, as it differed from everything the audiences had seen before.
